Introduce a bill allowing Environmental Trust money generated by the State Lottery to be used to fund rehabilitation of inner city, government-owned buildings, structures and improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: THAT, pursuant to the recommendation of Councilmember Lormong Lo, the legislative package of the City of Omaha for the Second Session of the Ninety-Sixth Legislature of the State of Nebraska shall include a proposal to amend existing legislation to provide for the use of funds from the Environmental Trust Fund for rehabilitation of buildings, structures, and improvements, located in inner city areas and owned by local governments.
