The attached Resolution approves the contract with L. H. Bolduc Co., Inc., for the installation of
pipe pile foundations at 15th and Dodge Streets for the future construction of the OmahaPark
Seven Parking Garage.
The following bids were received on December 1, 1999. Engineer's Estimate for this project is
$232,575.00.

L. H. BOLDUC CO., INC. $208,400.00 (LOW BID)
WBE Company, Inc. $230,400.00
McC, L.L.C. $285,125.00
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of S.P. 99-28A, Omaha Park Seven, Pipe
Pile Foundations, 15th and Dodge Streets from the OmahaPark Seven Parking Garage Project,
Fund No. 359.
The last review by the Human Relations Director showed the contractor is in compliance with
Ordinance No. 28885 and that the contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance
Report Form (CC-1). As is City policy, the Human Relations Director will continue to review
the contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.

Co., Inc., in the amount of$208,400.00 for S.P. 99-28A, being the lowest and best bid received
and request your consideration and approval of this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, it is necessary to install deep pipe pile foundations for the
construction of OmahaPark Seven at 15th and Dodge Streets; and,
WHEREAS, the financial responsibility to accomplish this work lies with the City
of Omaha in accordance with the terms of the amended Redevelopment Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake this work to successfully complete the
Redevelopment Project; and,
WHEREAS, L. H. Bolduc Co., Inc., has complied with the City's Contract
Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in relation to Civil Rights-Human Relations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the bid of $208,400.00 from L. H. Bolduc Co., Inc., for S.P. 99-28A,
OmahaPark Seven, Pipe Pile Foundations, being the lowest and best bid received, be accepted
and the contract awarded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the contract with L. H. Bolduc, Inc., as recommended by the Mayor, in
the amount of$208,400.00 is hereby approved.
BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of S.P. 99-28A,
OmahaPark Seven, Pipe Pile Foundations, 15th and Dodge Streets, in the amount of$208,400.00,
from the OmahaPark Seven Parking Garage Fund, Fund Number 359, Agency 195, Organization
2025, Activity 5551.
