The attached Resolution approves the acquisition of Outlots 1, 2 and 3 by Sanitary Improvement
District#434, Falcon Ridge, to be used as a public park and for recreational purposes. Also, this
Resolution authorizes this S.I.D. to expend $201,250.00,plus soft costs not to exceed 13.5% of
the purchase price or$228,418.75.
All appropriate City approvals have been obtained for this acquisition.

RESOLVEDCITY COUNCILOF THE BY THE COU C CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Sanitary and Improvement District (S.I.D.) No. 434, Falcon Ridge,
Douglas County, Nebraska, desires to purchase Outlots 1, 2 and 3 containing 13.6 acres; and,
WHEREAS, this land will be utilized for natural environmental area purposes;
and,
WHEREAS, S.I.D. No. 434's expenditure for these lots will not exceed
$228,418.75 including soft costs; and,
WHEREAS, this expenditure was authorized by the Parks and Recreation
Advisory Board; and,
WHEREAS, approval of this resolution provides facilities as illustrated in the
park's master plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department recommends
that this amount for acquisition of Outlots 1, 2, and 3 be approved; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of such acquisition is in the best interest of the citizens
of the City of Omaha; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended the approval of such acquisition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, property acquisition in the not to exceed
amount of$228,418.75, including soft costs, for Outlots 1, 2 and 3 by Sanitary and Improvement
District No. 434, Falcon Ridge, located at 180th to 186th Streets from Harrison to Cinnamon
Streets is hereby approved.
