The first eighteen months of the service agreement is at no cost. This service agreement will cost $0 in year one, $475.00 in year two and$950.00 each in years three,four and five. The five year service agreement will cost a total of$3,325.00. Supplies will be purchased as needed at prices indicated on the "exceptions" page of the bid tabulation. The service agreement will commence upon delivery of the copier. Funds for the purchase of the service agreement were approved in the Planning Department's 1999 budget,Agency 110, Organization 11.22, Line Item 2261. The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report(CC-1). WHEREAS, The Copy Center submitted a bid of$3,325.00 for the five-year service agreement which was received by September 28, 1998. The City will purchase, subject to budget restrictions, based upon the following information. . The Omaha•Planning Department has determined that photocopier requirements for this • - unit are as follows: 1. Average monthly volume is anticipated to be 1,000 copies per month. 2. The Planning Department requires copiers that will average 3,500 copies between service calls (CBC's) as long as the copier is under continuous service agreement with vendor. 3. The minimum service speed of copiers the City will consider is 20 copies per minute on 18" x 24" paper. The City judged this minimum copy speed to be the determining factor when comparing national averages of other copiers in this machine segment. 4. Requires no automatic document feeder. 5.
