AN ORDINANCE extending the limits of the City of Omaha over certain land in Douglas County,
Nebraska, and incorporating the same into and making the same a part of the City of Omaha
and to provide the effective date hereof
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That the corporate limits of the City of Omaha be extended over and that there
be included therein the following described lands in Douglas County, Nebraska, which presently
adjoins the City Limits of the City of Omaha, as it now exists:
Beginning at a point on the existing city limits line of the City of Omaha, as
established by Ordinance No. 32937,passed July 14, 1992, said point being 1,950.00
feet North of the Southwest corner of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 3, Township 14,
North,Range 11 East of the 6th P.M., Douglas County,Nebraska;thence along the
following line as described by the U.S. Corp of Engineers, said line intended as a
common line between Dam Site 18 and Sanitary and Improvement District No. 331;
thence N88°29'53" East, a distance of 544.50 feet,to the Northeast corner of Lot 59,
Bay Shores Addition, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas
County,Nebraska;thence S01°30'07" East,a distance of 614.05 feet to a point on the
North line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 3, said point
also being on the East line of Lot 54, said addition; thence S23°30'19" East, a
distance of 358.20 feet, to the Southeast corner of Lot 51, said addition; thence
S02°11'12" East,a distance of 630.52 feet,to a point on the Northwesterly line of Lot
42, said addition;thence N42°48'48" East, a distance of 466.69 feet,to the Northerly
most corner of Lot 39, said addition; thence S26°16'11" East, a distance of 635.37
feet, to a point on the North line of Lot 34, said addition; thence N87°08'18" East,
a distance of 382.78 feet,to a point on the North line of Lot 30, said addition;thence
NO2°33'36" East,a distance of 216.79 feet,to a point on the West line of Lot 26, said
addition; thence N28°45'06" West, a distance of 737.90 feet to a point on the West
line of Lot 19, said addition; thence N04°07'14" West, a distance of 343.08 feet to
a point said point being the Northwest corner of Lot 17 of said addition; thence
N44°56'27" East, a distance of 466.10 feet,to the Northerly most corner of Lot 15,
said addition; thence S39°05'33" East, a distance. of 1535.75 feet, to the Easterly
most corner of Lot 4, said addition; thence S01°36'12" East, along a line 50.00 feet
West of and parallel to the East line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 3, a distance -
of 397.04 feet to the South line thereof;thus ending described line; thence along the
existing city limits line of the City of Omaha as established by Ordinance No. 34613,
passed July 23, 1998, said line being the North line of Lot 102, South Shore Heights,

a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County,Nebraska, and
said line extended Westerly,to the Northeast corner of Lot 125, said addition;thence
Southwesterly along the North line of Lots 125 through 130, said addition to the
Northwesterly most corner of said Lot 130; thence Northwesterly 21.48 feet to the
Northeasterly most corner of Lot 162 said addition;thence Westerly along the North
line of said Lot 162 and said line extended Westerly to its intersection with the West
right-of-line of 163rd Street; thence Southerly along said West right-of-way line to
the Northeast corner of Lot 163 said addition; thence N89°23'18"W a distance of
342.16 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 170 said addition; thence westerly along

of Lot 195 said addition;thence N51°15'16"W a distance of 60.00 feet to a point on
the North line of said Lot 195;thence N80°56'21"W a distance of 250.00 feet to the
Northwest corner of Lot 196 said addition;thence SO1°17'S0"W a distance of 15.90
feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 214 said addition; thence West along the North
line of said Lot 214 to the Northwest corner of said Lot 214 said point also being on
the East right-of-way line of 167th Avenue; thence South along said East right-of-
way line to its intersection with the North line of the Southwest Quarter(SW 1/4) of
said Section 3;thence Westerly along said North line of the Southwest Quarter(SW
1/4)to the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter(SW 1/4);thence West along
the North line of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 4; Township 14 North,
Range 11 East of the 6th P.M., Douglas County,Nebraska, to its intersection with
the West right-of-way line of 168th Street; thence North along said West right-of-
way line to a point 1950.00 feet North of the South line of the Northeast Quarter(NE
1/4)of said Section 4 said point also being the Northeast Corner of Lot 1,The Pointe,
a subdivision as surveyed,platted and recorded in Douglas County,Nebraska, said
point also being on the existing city limits line of the City of Omaha as established
in said Ordinance number 32937;thence Easterly along said city limits line, said line
being 1,950.00 feet North of and parallel to the South line of said Northeast Quarter
(NE 1/4)a distance of 50.00 feet to the point of beginning.
A map of the area is attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by this reference made a part of this
Ordinance. The land to be annexed is marked thereon,but said map is for convenience and, in case
of discrepancy,the description in this Section shall be controlling. The said territory upon the taking
effect of this Ordinance shall be and become incorporated into,merged in, and be a part of the City
of Omaha,Nebraska, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof and to its laws and ordinances.
