Transmitted herewith is a Resolution accepting the attached Negotiator's Report submitted by
Mark E. Larson made in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 34934, passed June 29, 1999,
declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of
Weir Crest Neighborhood Flood Plain Purchase Program, known as St.S. 5642.
The Negotiators, Kirkham Michael, as agents for the City of Omaha, were successful in
acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property required for the project for the total negotiated
amount of $31,488.96. This amount includes the Replacement Housing Relocation Benefit
which is required by State and Federal Law.
The cost of one parcel of land or interest in property negotiated shall be paid from the Sewer
Bond Organization 1510, 1993 Sewer Bond No. 3 (year 2000 funding), Fund 332.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and recommends your approval of
this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Mark E. Larson has submitted to the City Council a Negotiator's
Report, attached, in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 34934, passed June 29, 1999,
declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of
the Weir Crest Neighborhood Flood Plain Purchase Program, known as St.S. 5642; and,
WHEREAS, the report shows that the Negotiators, Kirkham Michael, as agents
for the City of Omaha, were successful in negotiating and acquiring one parcel of land or interest
in property required for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the Negotiator's Report of Mark E. Larson made in accordance with
Necessity Ordinance No. 34934 be and hereby is approved.
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the negotiated
parcel of land or interest in property acquired in the amount of$31,488.96 from the Sewer Bond
Organization 1510, 1993 Sewer Bond No. 3 (year 2000 funding),Fund 332.
