RES 2000-0336 - Replat, Woodgate Replat C-25A CITY OF OMAHA

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 14-116 of the Revised Statutes of Nebraska authorizes the City
of Omaha to regulate the subdivision of land within three miles of the corporate limits of the City
but not within the City; and,
WHEREAS,the owners of certain real estate lying within Woodgate, a subdivision
as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County,Nebraska, have petitioned to have a portion
of said plat vacated and replatted as WOODGATE REPLAT 6 (a cluster subdivision), located East
of 80th Street at Read Street; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has recommended approval of this vacation
and replat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the replat transmitted herewith entitled WOODGATE REPLAT 6 (a cluster
subdivision), located East of 80th Street at Read Street, is hereby approved; and concurrently a
portion of the existing plat entitled Woodgate, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.
