WHEREAS, Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is the only liquor distributor that will sell
a certain variety of liquor to the City of Omaha Golf Courses; therefore, Republic National Distributing
Company (RNDC) is a sole source vendor; providing a unique and non-competitive service/product, and as
provided in Chapter 5.16 of the Home Rule Charter 1956 as amended, no competitive bidding is necessary;
and,
WHEREAS, Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is a firm qualified to provide the
product/service contemplated herein in the amount of$60,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has complied with the City's Contract
Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in relation to Civil Rights - Human Relations; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended acceptance of this pricing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the payment of liquor to Republic National Distributing
Company (RNDC) in the amount of$60,000.00, for the Parks, Recreation and Public Department, providing a
unique and non-competitive service as provided in Chapter 5.16 of the Home Rule Charter 1956 as
amended, is hereby approved. That the Finance Department of the City of Omaha is authorized to pay the
Funds in the amount of $60,000.00 to Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) the Golf Operations
Fund No. 21114, and Organization Nos. 115511 — Johnny Goodman ($15,000.00), 115512 — Benson
($15,000.00), 115513 — Elmwood ($15,000.00), 115519 — Knolls ($15,000.00).
