the South Branch of the Omaha Public Library for use of the public library system. This tract •
will be of benefit to the library system to be used to improve client access and to increase the
value of the existing South Branch location.

The Omaha Public Library is requesting Planning Board approval to accept the donation of a parcel.
of land located near the South Branch Library at 2302"M"St. The property consists of approximately two
lots located to the southeast of the library on 23`d Street and will be used to provide much needed parking for
clients of the library. This parcel will be of benefit to the library system and will increase the value of the existing
South Branch Library.
Analysis
The proposed site is in close proximity to the existing library and acquisition of this property is consistent with the
goals and objectives identified in the Public Facilities Element of the Master Plan.

liability company,hereby conveys to GRANTEE, CITY OF OMAHA,NEBRASKA, a municipal
corporation, the real estate (as defined in Neb. Rev. Stat. § 76-201) described as follows:
Lot 16, and the South Half(S%2)and the West 90 feet of the North Half(NY2)of Lot
17, Block 113, City of South Omaha,now a part of the City of Omaha, as surveyed
and lithographed, in Douglas County, Nebraska.
GRANTOR covenants with GRANTEE that GRANTOR:
(1) is lawfully seized of such real estate and that it is free from encumbrances, except
encumbrances, liens, easements and restrictions of record;
(2) has legal power and lawful authority to convey the same; and
(3) warrants and will defend title to the real estate against the lawful claims of all
