Transmitted herewith is a Resolution accepting the attached Negotiator's Report submitted by Tom
Lund made in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 35168, passed March 21, 2000, declaring
the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of widening"Q"
Street, Millard Avenue to 157th Street, known as Project S.P. 94-9.
The Negotiator, Tom Lund was successful in acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property
required for the project, which address is 5110 South 144th Street, for the total negotiated amount
of$42,000.00.
The cost of one parcel of land or interest in property negotiated shall be paid from the 1996 Street
and Highway Bond#3, 1999 issued, Fund No. 305, Organization No. 1509, Agency No. 140, year
2000 funding.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and recommends your approval of this
Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS,Tom Lund,Negotiator,has submitted to the City Council a Negotiator's
Report, attached, in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 35168, passed March 21, 2000,
declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of
widening "Q" Street, Millard Avenue to 157th Street, known as Project S.P. 94-9; and,
WHEREAS, the report shows that the Negotiator, Tom Lund, was successful in
negotiating and acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property required for the project, which
address is 5110 South 144th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the Negotiator's Report of Tom Lund made in accordance with Necessity
Ordinance No. 35168 be and hereby is approved.
THAT,the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the negotiated parcels
of land or interest in property acquired in the amount of $42,000.00 from the 1996 Street and
Highway Bond No. 3, 1999 issued, Organization No. 1509, Agency No. 140, year 2000 funding.
