RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Omaha has created a Cable
Television Advisory Committee; and,
WHEREAS, the Omaha Municipal Code provides that the City Council shall
appoint all members to that Committee; and, .,
WHEREAS, the membership of the Committee includes representatives from
each of the City Council districts,representatives of subscribers to cable companies serving areas
annexed into the City, and at-large members representing all residents of the city; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Jerry Freeman is currently serving as the City Council District
No.1 representative on the Cable Television Advisory Committee; and,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that Mr. Freeman should be
reappointed to serve as a member of the Cable Television Advisory Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, Mr. Jerry Freeman should be and hereby is reappointed to serve as the
Council District No. 1 representative on the Cable Television Advisory Committee for a term
commencing on July 27, 2000 and expiring July 26, 2003.
