1971-Present Curated and presented 180 exhibitions and organized 53 workshops. Arranged numerous
touring exhibitions and lecture series.
1985 Organized and curated a national towing exhibition of large scale sculptures by artist
Jun Kaneko.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Sections 27-121 et seq. of the Omaha Municipal Code provide for
the creation and operation of the Public Art Commission; and,
WHEREAS,Ree Schonlau was appointed to the Public Art Commission to fill the
unexpired term of Neville Murray; and,
WHEREAS, the term of Ree Schonlau, a member of said Commission, has
expired,leaving a vacancy; and,
WHEREAS,the Honorable Hal Daub has reappointed Ree Schonlau to the Public
Art Commission as the nonprofit visual art representative, said term to commence upon.
confirmation by the City Council and to expire three years thereafter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by the Honorable Hal Daub of Ree Schonlau, as the
nonprofit visual art representative on the Public Art Commission, said term to commence upon.
