Liquor at retail for the period ending October 31, 2001, submitted to this Council by the Nebraska
Liquor Control Commission in accordance with the provisions of Section 53-134, RRS Nebraska,
1943, as amended, and upon hearing held within 45 days after the receipt of said notice from the
Commission,be and the same is hereby recommended to said Liquor Control Commission to grant
said license.

Dear Cannon:
This is a follow-up to our telephone conversation earlier today during which I had the
embarrassing task of disclosing to you the mistake I made in preparing and submitting the liquor
license application of Straight Shooters,Inc.,my client As I advised you,I made a mistake in
setting out the street address of the premises to be licensed as 7812 L Street,Omaha,Nebraska.
This was a typographical error as the correct address is 7812 F Street,the same address as the
mailing address set out in the application. You will notice that the correct address is also set out
in the"Description and Diagram of the Structure to be Licensed"section of the application.
To facilitate this matter,I am"faxing"this letter to you with a copy being"faxed"also to Jackie
B.Matulka,Licensing Division,Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. I am in hopes that this
error can be corrected through my submission of this letter to you and to Mrs. Matulka so that
the license application process can be continued without delay. My thanks to you and to Mrs.
Matulka for your kind assistance in this matter.
Carman,please also be advised that I have arranged for the 300 foot search to be delivered to
you at the City Clerk's office as soon as possible. I hope that you will have it by next Thursday
afternoon. I am assured that you will have it no later than next Friday morning.
