RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 43-52 of the Omaha Municipal Code governs the composition of the
Building Board of Review and requires seven members, one of which must be a sanitary engineer.
WHEREAS, Section 43-53 of the City of Omaha Municipal Code requires the Mayor to appoint
members of the board, subject to confirmation by the City Council.
WHEREAS, Joseph Flaxbeard's appointment to the board expired on February 11, 2022.
WHEREAS, the Mayor hereby nominates Joseph Flaxbeard for reappointment as the sanitary
engineer representative to the Building Board of Review, for a three-year term commencing December 14,
2022 and expiring December 13, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment of Joseph Flaxbeard as a member of the City of Omaha Building
Board of Review to serve a term commencing December 14, 2022 and expiring on December 13, 2025, be and
hereby is confirmed.
