RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interest of the City of
Omaha to provide for commemorative street names; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide for a designation of "Dave
Rimington Street" as a commemorative street name for L Street, from 20th Street to 24th Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the portion of L Street from 20th Street to 24th Street shall be designated
with the additional commemorative street name of "Dave Rimington Street"; and the Public
Works Department is authorized to erect an acceptable sign designating the same, in compliance
with all applicable local and state statutes, ordinances or regulations, and policies.
