RES 2001-2451 - Replat, The Thomsen Mile Replat Two C-25A CITY OF OMAHA

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: !'
WHEREAS,Section 14-116 of the Revised Statutes of Nebraska authorizes the City
of Omaha to regulate the subdivision of land within three miles of the corporate limits of the City but
not within the City; and,
WHEREAS,the owners of certain real estate lying within The Thomsen Mile and The
Thomsen Mile Replat One, subdivisions as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County,
Nebraska,have petitioned to have a portion of said plats vacated and replatted as THE THOMSEN
MILE REPLAT TWO located Northwest of 168th Street and West Maple Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has recommended approval of this vacation
and replat.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the replat transmitted herewith entitled THE THOMSEN MILE REPLAT
TWO located Northwest of 168th Street and West Maple Road,is hereby approved;and concurrently
a portion of the existing plats entitled The Thomsen Mile and The Thomsen Mile Replat One, and
described on said replat, are hereby vacated.
