Jerry spent 39 years serving the citizens of Omaha in a variety of positions, including Director of Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department It is a fitting and appropriate tribute to his dedication to the citizens of Omaha and his long years of service and contributions to youth sports activities to name the youth football complex in Levi Carter Park in his honor.
