Transmitted herewith is a Bid Tabulation and a Resolution authorizing the Purchasing Agent to
issue a Purchase Order to H.P. Smith Ford LLC for six (6) %2 ton pickups to be used by the Parks
Division of the Parks,Recreation and Public Property Department.
The following bids were received on.September 12, 2001:

The Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from.
H.P. Smith Ford LLC in the total amount of$102,000.00 for six (6) %2 ton pickups,being the lowest
and best bid received,within the bid specifications.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the %2 ton pickups in the amount of
$102,000.00 from the 2001 General. Fund 001, Agency 120, and Organization 1214, Parks and
Community Centers.
The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1). As is city
policy, the Human Relations Director will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the
Contract Compliance Ordinance.

products under the Nebraska Motor Vehicle Industry Licensing Act,
Neb. Rev. Stat. Section 60-1401 et seq., as of the date of bid."

NOTE: Each bid shall be accompanied by: (1) proof that the bidder
holds, as of the date of the bid, a Nebraska Motor Vehicle Dealer's
License issued under the Nebraska Motor Vehicle Industry
Licensing Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. Section 60-1401.01 et seq.; and
(2) name of the bidder's salesperson, and proof that the bidder's
salesperson holds, as of the date of the bid, a Nebraska Motor Vehicle
Salesperson's License under the aforesaid Act; and (3) name of the
manufacturer of the product and proof that the manufacturer holds, as
of the date of the bid, a Nebraska Motor Vehicle Manufacturer's or
Distributor's License under the aforesaid Act. Failure to comply with
• these requirements may result in the bid being rejected.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were received on September 12, 2001 for six (6) 1 ton pickups,
for the Parks Division of the Parks,Recreation and Public Property Department; and,
WHEREAS, H.P. Smith Ford LLC submitted the lowest and best bid, within bid
specifications, attached hereto and made a part hereof, for the purchase of six (6) 1/2 ton pickups in
the total amount of$102,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, H.P. Smith Ford LLC has complied with the City's Contract
Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in relation to Civil Rights-Human Relations; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended acceptance of this bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the bid in the total amount of$102,000.00
from H.P. Smith Ford LLC for six(6) 1/2 ton pickups is hereby accepted, and the Purchasing Agent
is authorized to issue a purchase order in conformance herewith. Funds in this amount for six (6) '
ton pickups shall be paid from the 2001 General Fund 001, Agency No. 120, and Organization,
1214,Parks and Community Centers.
