Honorable President
and Members of the City Council,
The attached Resolution for your consideration would allow the City of Omaha to enter
into an international Sister City relationship with the City of Naas, Ireland.
The relationship, facilitated by the Omaha Chapter of the Ancient Order of Hibernians,
would promote educational, cultural and recreational pursuits, as well as promote
international understanding through the exchange of people and ideas. If approved, the
Resolution would allow representatives of the City of Omaha and the Omaha Sister City
Association to formalize a relationship agreement with the civic leaders of Naas by the
end of the year.
Your review and favorable consideration of this Resolution is appreciated.
Sincerely,
)Th...a.4-4' aV,...
