Transmitted herewith is a Resolution accepting the attached Negotiator's Report submitted by Torn
Lund made in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 35516,passed March 13, 2001, declaring
the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of widening the
30t" and Ames intersection, known as Project S.P. 97-15.
The Negotiator, Torn Lund, was successful in acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property,
which address is 4423 North 30th Street,required for the project for the total negotiated amount of
$34,825.00
The cost of one parcel of land or interest in property negotiated shall be paid from the 1996 Street
and Highway Bond, year 2001 funding, Organization 1509, Agency 140,Fund 344.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and recommends your approval of this
Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: V
WHEREAS,Tom Lund,Negotiator,has submitted to the City Council a Negotiator's
Report, attached, in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 35516, passed March 13, 2001,
declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of
widening the 30th and Ames intersection,known as Project S.P. 97-15; and,
WHEREAS, the report shows that the Negotiator, Tom Lund, was successful in
negotiating and acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property required for the project, which
address is 4423 North 30th Street.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, the Negotiator's Report of Tom Lund made in accordance with Necessity
Ordinance No. 35516 be and hereby is approved.
THAT,the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the negotiated parcel
of land or interest in property acquired in the amount of $34,825.00 from the 1996 Street and
Highway Bond, year 2001 funding, Organization 1509, Agency 140, Fund 344.
