ORDINANCE NO. I l' f
AN ORDINANCE declaring the necessity of appropriating certain pri-
vate property and lands for the use of The City of
Omaha for the purpose of owning, establishing, enlarg-
ing, constructing, equipping, and operating thereon
an aviation field and erecting thereon such buildings
and such improvements as may be necessary for the pur-
pose of adapting said field to the use of aerial traf-
fic, the same being a needed public use of The City
of Omaha; providing for the appointment of three (3)
disinterested freeholders of said City to assess the
damages to the owners, respectively, of the property
A taken by said appropriation.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That it is proper and necessary, and it is hereby
declared proper and necessary, to appropriate certain private pro-
perty and lands for the use of The City of Omaha for the purpose of
owning, establishing, enlarging, constructing, equipping, and operat-
ing thereon an aviation field and erecting thereon such buildings
and such improvements as may be necessary for the purpose of adapt-
ing said field to the use of aerial traffic; the same being hereby
declared to be a needed public use of the City of Omaha; said pro-
perty and lands for such purpose being situated in the County of
Douglas, State of Nebraska, and being within seventy-five (75)
miles of the corporate limits of the said City of Omaha, and being
described as follows:
