Blvd. I have faxed a proposed work order to Mr. Kevin Denker. It is my
understanding that once I have deposited with you my cashier's check in the amount
of$300.00, he will transmit the approved plan of work to you.

Regarding the property at 2370 Fontenelle Blvd, the following items have been
completed: Dwelling Exterior - Roof has been repaired (actually, a new roof has
been installed); front entry door secured; all trash and debris removed from the
property; damaged wall surfaces (interior) have been repaired; pest infestation and
cat waste from basement interior has long since been removed.
Also, a General Repair permit and electrical permit have been obtained, and a
plumbing permit is in process of being secured. Mechanical permit will follow soon.
As for completion of remaining repairs, we plan on having it completely done within
a couple of months, if not sooner. But if it is acceptable with you, we will ask for
four months to do the job in the event of illness or unforseen circumstances. I do
have the liquid funds necessary to complete this, so that is not a concern.
I faxed to you on August 30th a similar letter and plans that you may have
overlooked or not seen yet. But this also will suffice, I believe, to meet your
requirements.

Remarks: The dwelling was written up for violations on August 22, 2000. The dwelling was vacant,
open, and had a terrible odor from cat waste.
Condemnation hearings were held on January 11, 2001 and March 1, 2001. The dwelling was
condemned as a nuisance to the neighborhood.
On June 6, 2001 the bank started foreclosure proceedings to take the property back.
The dwelling was sold to Bill Kinney on August 6, 2002. The new owner has started repairs on the
dwelling and has permits for general repair issued 8-14-02, electrical issued 9-3-02, and plumbing issued
8-22-02.

WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of September 2002,there was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha,
a request for an appeal on the condemnation of a one story wood framed dwelling, legally described as
the north 12 feet of the east 62.5 feet of Lot 19 &the west 62.5 feet of Lots 18 & 19, Block 3, Clairmont
Addition, 2370 Fontenelle Boulevard,Omaha,Nebraska.
WHEREAS, said appeal complies with the requirements as set forth in Section 43-38 Appeal Procedure
of Division 4 of Unsafe Buildings of General Ordinance of the City of Omaha, passed June 27, 1995 as
amended; and,

WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Omaha as directed by Section 43-38 Appeal Procedure of
Division 4 of Unsafe Buildings of General Ordinance of the City of Omaha, passed June 27, 1995 as
amended, has set Tuesday, October 1,2002, as the date of Hearing on the Appeal of Condemnation of the
above-mentioned property.
THEREFORE, You as Owner, Lessee, Mortgagee of Record, Occupant, or Interested Party of such
building are hereby notified to appear in the Legislative Chambers, Level LC, Omaha/Douglas Civic
Center, 1819 Famam Street, at 2:00 o'clock p.m. on the above-mentioned date to show cause why such
building or structure should not remain condemned as a nuisance and ordered torn down.
