RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code Section 27-142, a City Naming Committee
was established to provide recommendations regarding the proposed naming or renaming of City property;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Naming Committee is made up of the Planning Director, the Public Works
Director, Police Chief, Fire Chief, Parks and Recreation Director, Library Director, and three representatives
of the public; and,
WHEREAS, the three representatives of the public shall be appointed by the Mayor with the
initial terms being staggered; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert wishes to appoint Joel Robles as a citizen member to the
City Naming Committee for a three-year term, said term to commence June 15, 2022 and expire June 14,
2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT the appointment by Mayor Jean Stothert of Joel Robles as a citizen member on the City
Naming Committee for a three-year term, said term commencing June 15, 2022 and expiring June 14, 2025,
is hereby approved and confirmed.
