ZO 2.2^ OL.Q02 / , ,/�Z2 Agenda Date: Department: LAW Submitter: '6Q,TY\Qr(l %n Atv\ 76SC\ CITY OF OMAHA LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER Omaha, Nebraska RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: WHEREAS, there is established in Douglas County, Nebraska, a Public Building Commission pursuant to Section 13-1301, et seq., Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943, as amended; and, WHEREAS, Section 13-1303, Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943, as amended, provides for filling of vacancies on said Omaha/Douglas Public Building Commission by the Mayor of the City of Omaha with the approval of the governing body of the City; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Omaha as provided in said act has reappointed Brinker Harding to serve a term commencing July 2, 2022, on the Board of the Omaha/Douglas Public Building Commission as a representative of the City of Omaha; and, WHEREAS, said reappointment by the Mayor of the City of Omaha is subject to approval of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: THAT, the reappointment by Mayor Jean Stothert, Mayor of the City of Omaha, of Brinker Harding for a term while he is serving as Councilmember commencing July 2, 2022 and expiring July 1, 2026, on the Board of Commissioners of the Omaha/Douglas Public Building Commission is hereby approved and confirmed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: THAT, the City Clerk of the City of Omaha shall file a certified copy of the Resolution with the Secretary of State of the State of Nebraska, with the County Clerk of Douglas County, Nebraska, and with the said Omaha/Douglas Public Building Commission.
