The Department solicited several contractors after the bid to see if a contractor would be able to compete the work and the Department received two (2) quotes to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct additional parking spaces and drive lane at the Dewey Park Building, located at 550 Turner Boulevard, Omaha, Nebraska in the amount of $50,000.00 for the Parks, Recreation and Public Property Department; and, WHEREAS, Jacksons Complete Concrete submitted the lowest quote, within bid specifications, attached hereto and made a part hereof, in the amount of $50,000.00; and, WHEREAS, Jacksons Complete Concrete, has complied with the City's Contract Compliance Ordinance No. 28885 in relation to Civil Rights - Human Relations; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor has recommended acceptance of this bid.
