Transmitted herewith is an Ordinance to amend Special Ordinance No. 10024 levying special tax
assessments for weed abatement in the year 2003.
An abstracting error caused the 2003 property to be billed and assessed. The Finance Department
desires to remove the assessments and clear the lien from the property record.
Your consideration and approval of the attached Ordinance is requested.

AN ORDINANCE to amend certain portions of Special Levy Ordinance No. 10024 levying an
assessment for weed abatement in the year 2003, by repealing the assessment on the
property legally described as Lot 19 - 40 x 150, Lands Addition to the City of Omaha,
Douglas County, Nebraska, 1918 Ames Avenue; and to provide for an effective date
hereof.
WHEREAS, Special Levy Ordinance No. 10024 was passed by the City Council of the City of
Omaha on January 28, 2003, levying a special assessment for weed abatement on certain
lots in the City of Omaha, and it has been ascertained that the assessment on the
following described property and in the amount so levied by Special Ordinance No.
10024 should be repealed. An abstracting error caused this property to be billed and
assessed.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That such portion of Special Ordinance No. 10024, passed January 28, 2003,
relating to and levying the special assessment for weed abatement upon the following described
property:
