being 24th and Redick Sewer Separation Phase I, Storm Sewer Outlet at Minne Lusa Outfall Channel.

The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from L.G. Roloff Construction Co.,
Inc. in the amount of $395,349.17, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests your
consideration and approval of this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were submitted on February 4, 2004 for OPW 50306, being 24th
and Redick Sewer Separation Phase I, Storm Sewer Outlet at Minne Lusa Outfall Channel; and,
WHEREAS, L.G. Roloff Construction Co., Inc. submitted a bid of $359,349.17,
being the lowest and best bid received for OPW 50306.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the bid of$359,349.17 from L.G. Roloff Construction Co., Inc. for OPW
50306, being 24th and Redick Sewer Separation Phase I, Storm Sewer Outlet at Minne Lusa
Outfall Channel, being the lowest and best bid received, be accepted and the contract be
awarded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the contract with L.G. Roloff Construction Co., Inc., as recommended by
the Mayor, in the amount of$359,349.17 is hereby approved.
BE IT ALSO FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 50306 from
the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Sewer Separation Organization 116912, Sewer Revenue
Improvements Fund 21124, year 2004 funding.
