RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 9F•OMAHA:
WHEREAS, The Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) has requested that the
Douglas County Land Reutilization Commission (LRC)transfer to it for a nominal fee seven lots
that the LRC obtained after the two-year foreclosure redemption period: and,
WHEREAS., the Board of County Commissioners of Douglas County, Nebraska
adopted a resolution supporting this transfer at their January 27, 2004 meeting; and,
WHEREAS, this City Council is supportive of the LRC transferring the below
listed properties at a cost of$10.00 to the OHA:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE

THAT, the City Council and Mayor of the City of Omaha support the transfer of
seven lots by the Douglas County Land Reutilization Commission at a cost of $10.00 to the
Omaha Housing Authority. Those lots are 5703 North 49th Avenue, 2437 Ellison Avenue, 3327
. Emmet Street, 2589 Laurel Avenue, 5322 North 25th Street, 5804 North 27th Street, and 1613
North 36th Street.

The attached Resolution is presented at the request of Councilmember Frank Brown.
This Resolution supports the transfer of seven lots by the Douglas County Land
Reutilization Commission (LRC) to the Omaha Housing Authority. The Omaha Housing
Authority would pay the LRC la ` ° e for the seven properties. These
properties were obtained by the LRC after the two year foreclosure redemption period.
The seven properties are listed below.
5703 North 49th Avenue
2437 Ellison Avenue
3327 Emmet Street
2589 Laurel Avenue
5322 North 25th Street
5804 North 27th Street
1613 North 36th Street
Attached is a copy of the Resolution adopted by the Douglas County Board of
Commissioners supporting the transfer of the properties.

DOUGLAS COUNTY,NEBRASKA
WHEREAS, the Omaha Housing Authority(OHA)has requested that the
Douglas County Land Reutilization Commission (LRC)transfer to it for a nominal fee
seven lots that the LRC obtained after the two-year foreclosure redemption period; and,
WHEREAS, while this Board is supportive of the LRC transferring those
properties to the OHA, the OHA should pay the LRC-appraised value for those
properties; and,
WHEREAS, the OHA has sufficient funds to pay for those properties.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, DOUGLAS COUNTY, NEBRASKA that this Board hereby
authorizes the Douglas County Land Reutilization Commission to transfer to the Omaha
Housing Authority the seven lots listed below at their LRC-appraised values, which are
also listed below.
