Councilmember Garry Gernandt, in association with the Mayor, asks that a
Resolution be prepared for the City Council's Agenda of January 27, 2004.
This Resolution will be doing the following:
• Recognize that Fed Vak has recently retired from the City of Omaha Planning
Department after 43 years of employment in the Drafting Division of that
Department;
• • That in appreciation and recognition of his dedicated and faithful service the
City of Omaha conveys to Fred Vak his drafting table used by him during his
tenure in that division;
• Furthermore; that said drafting table is deemed no longer needed by the City of
Omaha Planning Department has zero value and, therefore, suitable for
convenience to Mr. Vak upon the tendering of$25.00 for the drafting table.
Please draft the Resolution so that these points are captured in essence.
