Transmitted herewith is a Resolution accepting the attached Negotiator's Report submitted by Mark
E.Larson and Tom Lund made in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 36419,passed October
10, 2003, declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the
purpose of the West Dodge Road Sanitary Sewer Relocation, from the Big Papillion Creek to 117th
Street, identified as OPW 50220.
The Negotiators,Mark E. Larson and Torn Lund,were successful in acquiring 2 parcels of land or
interest in property located at 111.02-11224'and 11228 West Dodge Road that are required for the
project for the total negotiated amount of$52,500.00.
The cost of the 2 parcels of land or interest in property negotiated shall be paid from the 2004 Sewer
Separation Organization 116912, Sewer Revenue Improvement Fund 21124.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and recommends your approval of this
Resolution. •

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Mark E. Larson and Tom Lund, Negotiators, have submitted to the
City Council a Negotiator's Report, attached, in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No.
36419, passed October 10, 2003, declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain
private property for the purpose of the West Dodge Road Sewer Relocation Project, from the Big
Papillion Creek to 117th Street, identified as OPW 50220; and,
WHEREAS, the report shows that the Negotiators, Mark E. Larson and Tom
Lund, were successful in negotiating and acquiring two (2) parcels of land or interests in
property located at 11102 - 11224 and 11228 West Dodge Road that are required for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the Negotiator's Report of Mark E. Larson and Tom Lund made in
accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 36419 be and hereby is approved.
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the costs for the two
negotiated parcels of land or interests in property acquired in the amount of$52,500.00 from the
2004 Sewer Separation Organization 116912, Sewer Revenue Improvement Fund 21124.
