Transmitted herewith is a Resolution accepting the attached Negotiator's Report submitted by Mark
E. Larson made in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 36257,passed May 6,2003,declaring
the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose of widening
Pacific Street, from Bob Boozer Drive to 169th Street,known as Special Project No. 99-24,Federal
Aid Project STPC-5044(5).
The Negotiator, Mark E. Larson, was successful in acquiring one parcel Of land or interest in
property located at the northwest corner of 168th and Pacific Streets and required for the project for
the total negotiated amount of$31,260.00.
The cost of one parcel of land or interest in property negotiated shall be paid from the Street and
Highway Bond Organization 116167, 2000 Street and Highway Bond No. 1 (2004 funding),Fund
13175.
The Public Works Department requests your consideration and recommends your approval of this
Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Mark E. Larson, Negotiator, has submitted to the City Council a
Negotiator's Report, attached, in accordance with Necessity Ordinance No. 36257, passed May 6,
2003,declaring the necessity of appropriating and acquiring certain private property for the purpose
of widening Pacific Street,from Bob Boozer Drive to 169th Street,known as Special Project No.99-
24, Federal Aid Project STPC-5044(5); and,
WHEREAS,the report shows that the Negotiator,Mark E.Larson,was successful in
negotiating and acquiring one parcel of land or interest in property located at the northwest corner of
168th and Pacific Streets and required for the project.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the Negotiator's Report of Mark E.Larson made in accordance with Necessity
Ordinance No. 36257 be and hereby is approved.
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of the one negotiated
parcel of land or interest in property acquired in the amount of $31,260.00 from the Street and
Highway Bond Organization 116167, 2000 Street and Highway Bond No. 1 (2004 funding), Fund
13175.
