The League of Nebraska Municipalities
For a number of years the City has been a member of the League of Nebraska Municipalities.
Payment to the League for the past five years is as follows:
1999 $41,833.00
2000 $43,512.00
2001 $45,512.00
2002 $48,546.00
2003 $49,567.00
The attached Resolution is being submitted to you for consideration in the amount of$49,567 for
the League's year ending August 31, 2005 Payment is to be made from the 2004 General
Expense Budgetary Account No. 119014.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the League of Nebraska Municipalities is a statewide organization
embracing cities and villages in the State of Nebraska for their common good and, in particular,
representation of the interests of said cities and villages before the Nebraska Legislature; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Omaha should join its sister cities and villages in the
State of Nebraska in supporting the League of Nebraska Municipalities; and,
WHEREAS, it is for the benefit and interest of all the citizens of Omaha that
Omaha belong to this organization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the City of Omaha retain its membership in the League of Nebraska
Municipalities and pay its dues in the amount of $49,567.00 to be paid from the 2004 General
Expense Budgetary Account No. 119014.
