Board. Ms. Gendler's appointment will replace Carol Ebdon, who resigned May 20, 2004, and

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2002, Carol Ebdon was appointed to serve on the Library
Board; and,
WHEREAS, effective May 20, 2004, Carol Ebdon resigned as a member of the
Library Board; and,
WHEREAS, Section 14-23 of the Omaha Municipal Code provides for the
appointment to said board; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Fahey has appointed Carol Gendler to the Library Board, said
term to commence upon confirmation by the City Council and shall expire June 30, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the appointment by the Mayor of Carol Gendler as a member of the
Library Board is hereby confirmed. Such term shall commence on the date of confirmation by
the City Council and shall expire June 30, 2005.
