Transmitted herewith is an Ordinance to amend Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035,levying special
tax assessments for the cutting and clearing of weeds, grass and worthless vegetation. The special
assessment was levied on the property of Michael T.Boone,however,the City of Omaha is currently
the owner of the property identified in Ordinance No. 10035, levied on January 27, 2004, and this
assessment should be removed.

AN ORDINANCE to amend certain portions of Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035, levying
assessments for the cutting and clearing of weeds, grass and worthless vegetation by
• repealing the assessment on property located at 3859 Seward Street in the City of Omaha,
Douglas County,Nebraska.
WHEREAS, Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035 was passed by the City Council of the City
of Omaha on January 27, 2004, levying a special tax and assessment for the cutting and clearing of
weeds, grass and worthless vegetation on certain lots in the City of Omaha and it has been
determined that the assessment on the following described property and the amount so levied by
Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035 should be repealed. The Planning Department believes this
special assessment should be repealed because it was assessed in error to City property.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. That such portion of Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035 passed January 27,2004,
relating to and levying a special tax and assessment for the cutting and clearing of weeds,grass and
worthless vegetation upon the following described property:
Owner: Michael T. Boone, 411 Olive Ave#5, Sandpoint, OD 83864
Property Address: 3859 Seward St
Parcel Id#: 2151-0002-19
Legal Description: Lot 7, W 50 N 138 FT, 50x138, Block 5, Orchard Hill Addition
Amount: $96.00
Be and hereby is repealed and said property levy and interest on the same, and the same
hereby is, held for naught, the same as though not included in such Special Levy Ordinance No.
10035, and the total amount of Special Levy Ordinance No. 10035 be amended accordingly.
