RES 2022-0140 - Change Order No. 10 with Judds Bros for OPW 54039 - Fall Arrest System Phase I Project C-25A

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Judds Bros. Construction Co. was awarded a contract by City Council
Resolution No. 634 on June 15, 2021, to construct OPW 54039, being the Fall Arrest System
Phase I Project, associated with Capital Improvement Program Project No. 1982E509; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase the contract due to unforeseen conditions and
revisions. The specific changes are listed in the attached Change Order No. 1, which by this
reference is made a part hereof; and,
WHEREAS, Judds Bros. Construction Co. has agreed to perform these services for a total
additional cost of $30,362.26, which is to be paid from the Sewer Revenue Improvements Fund
21124, Neighborhood Sewer Renovation Organization 116911, year 2022 expenditure; Sewer
Revenue Bonds will be issued to finance this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, Change Order No. 1 with Judds Bros. Construction
Co. for additional work on OPW 54039, being the Fall Arrest System Phase I Project, is hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, the Finance Department is authorized to pay an additional sum of$30,362.26, for
this change order, from the Sewer Revenue Improvements Fund 21124, Neighborhood Sewer
Renovation Organization 116911, year 2022 expenditure; Sewer Revenue Bonds will be issued
to finance this project.
