The attached Resolution approves the contract with Ram:- Building Restoration for OPW 50756,
being Omaha Police Headquarters Garage Floor Structural and Waterproofing Repairs.
The following bids were received on June 15, 2005. A detailed bid tabulation is attached.

The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1). As is
City policy, the Human Relations Director will review the contractor to ensure compliance with
the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 50756 from the Fleet/Facilities
Organization 113141, 1998 Public Facility#1 (2001)Fund 13241, 2005 expenditures.
The Public Works Department recommends the acceptance of the bid from Rain Building
Restoration in the amount of$128,705.00, being the lowest and best bid received, and requests
your consideration and approval of this Resolution.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS,bids were submitted on June 15, 2005 for OPW 50756, being Omaha
Police Headquarters Garage Floor Structural and Waterproofing Repairs; and, -r
WHEREAS, Ram Building Restoration submitted a bid of$128,705 00, being the
lowest and best bid received for OPW 50756.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the bid of $128,705.00 from Ram Building Restoration for OPW 50756,
being Omaha Police Headquarters Garage Floor Structural and Waterproofing Repairs, being the
lowest and best bid received within the bid specifications, be accepted and the contract be
awarded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Ram Building
Restoration for OPW 50756, being Omaha Police Headquarters Garage Floor Structural, and
Waterproofing Repairs, in the amount of $128,705.00 is hereby approved; and that the Finance
Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 50756 from the Fleet/Facilities Organization
113141, 1998 Public Facility#1 (2001) Fund 13241, 2005 expenditures.
