ORDINANCE NO. cg ,9 79
AN ORDINANCE to approve an amendment to the Land Use Element of the Master Plan for the
City of Omaha, to change the land use designation from industrial to low density
residential for the area located Northwest of 87th Street and Sorensen Parkway; and to
provide for the effective date hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
Section 1. Section 7.05 of the Charter of the City of Omaha allows for the City Council
to adopt amendments to the City's Master Plan as deemed necessary and appropriate upon
recommendation by the Planning Board.
Section 2. The Planning Board, at their February 2, 2005 public hearing, recommended
Approval of the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the City's Master Plan as
provided for on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference.
Section 3. The said proposed amendment to the City's Master Plan, as set forth in the
attached Exhibit"A", is hereby approved.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effective fifteen (15) days from
the date of its passage.
