place at an open meeting of the Douglas County Clerk/Comptroller, Douglas County
Treasurer, and Douglas County Attorney on Friday, October 22, 2021, in the Legislative
Chambers of the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam, Omaha, Nebraska:
MOTION: County Treasurer John W. Ewing, Jr. moved to seat Roger Garcia on the
Douglas County Board of Commissioners for District 1. County Clerk/Comptroller Daniel
A. Esch seconded the motion.
Motion is contingent upon Roger Garcia becoming bonded.
ROLL CALL: Ewing, Kleine, Esch voted yes. Motion carried 3-0.
Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 32-571, this document constitutes the written appointment
of Roger Garcia to the vacant office of County Commissioner for District Number 1 on the
Douglas County Board of Commissioners
