We feel that re-plating the lot lines to make two lots and changing the street orientation would not be in the best interest of the neighborhood. It would cause the lot to look over crowded and create safety hazards for residents and those driving through the neighborhood. All homes in this neighborhood face east or west and have nice sized yards. While the yard at this current lot is bit bigger than many, we do not believe that it is of sufficient size to have the lot lines split and still have room to have a drive way plus build on the new lot with out appear- ing over crowded. The lot is on a slope, the lower portion, which is directly across from our home has severely eroded. It would not be able to be used for construction without encroach- ing on the side boundaries around the lots for sidewalk and utilities, which would make the lot size appear even smaller. In addition, having a driveway on the lower portion of the hill would cause a safety hazard as it would be a blind drive way. People heading east coming down the hill would not have time to stop for a car coming out of the drive way and people coming out of the drive would not be able to see if cars were coming from the west. Please accept this letter of opposition and vote to DISapprove the resolution, Thank you for your time and consideration.
