Contractor Base Bid A+B Bid U.S. ASPHALT CO. $199,814.20 $274,814.20 (LOW BID) Swain Construction, Inc. , $213,610.00 $276,610.70 • Tab Construction Co. ,` $349,460.40 $424,460.40 The A+B bid represents the contractor's base bid (A) plus the product of the calendar days to complete the work, submitted by the contractor, and the calculated cost to the road user(B). The A+B bid is used for comparative purposes to determine the most reasonable bid. The contractor has on file a current Annual Contract Compliance Report Form (CC-1). As is City policy, the Human Rights and Relations Director will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance. The Finance Department is authorized to pay the cost of OPW 51089 base bid, $199,814.20,plus a potential maximum incentive amount, $9,000.00, for a total of$208,814.20 to be paid from the Residential. NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: THAT, the base bid of $199,814.20, plus the potential maximum incentive amount of $9,000.00 for a total of $208,814.20 from U.S. Asphalt Co. for OPW 51089, being residential concrete curb ramp construction at various locations within the City of Omaha, being the lowest and best bid received within the bid specifications, be accepted and the contract be awarded.
