serve as a Commissioner of the Omaha Housing Authority. Her present term expired on February
12,2006; and her five-year term will commence upon confirmation by the City Council and expire
on February 12, 2011.

RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 71-1519 R.R.S. Nebraska, 1943, as
amended, authorize the City of Omaha to create a Housing Authority; and,
WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 2-232 of the Omaha Municipal Code create
such a Housing Authority; and,
WHEREAS, the present term of Nell Winford member of the Omaha Housing
Authority has expired; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of Section 71-1524 R.R.S.
Nebraska, 1943, as amended, it is the responsibility of the Mayor to appoint and submit for
confirmation the names of persons to serve as such Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, after review and careful consideration, Mayor Mike Fahey does
hereby re-appoint Nell Winford as a Commissioner to the Omaha Housing Authority to serve a
five-year term commencing upon confirmation by the City Council and expiring February 12,
2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF OMAHA:
THAT, the re-appointment of Nell Winford to serve as a Commissioner of the
Omaha Housing Authority in accordance with the terms and conditions of the laws of the State
of Nebraska and the City of Omaha, for a term commencing upon confirmation by the City
Council and expiring February 12, 2011,be and hereby is confirmed and approved. .
