Mike Fahey,Mayor "Acting Director Honorable President And Members of the City Council, Transmitted herewith is a Resolution approving a change order to the NP Dodge Park Marina Improvement Project approved by.prior Resolution of the City Council on September 12, 2006; said Resolution having approved the low bid of Galva Foam Industries for work at the Dodge Park Marina which included the installation of new docks and moving the existing docks. This change order authorizes Galva Foam Industries to provide and install replacement concrete deck pans on existing docks A, B, C, D and F. Replacement of the existing pans is needed due to the deteriorated condition of the existing pans. Specifics regarding the replacement of these deck pans are included in the Change Order. Galva Foam Industries has agreed to provide and install these deck pans for the additional cost of$90,246.77. The marina improvements, approved by the September 12 Resolution, were funded by a Boating Infrastructure Grant and through the issuance of a future revenue bond which will be repaid by marina revenues. The same revenue sources will be utilized to fund the cost of this Resolution and its associated change order. The Finance Department is therefore authorized to pay the cost of this project, in the total amount of $90,246.77, from Fund No. 21111, N.P. Dodge Park Marina and Organization No. 115452,N.P.
