RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, Section 4.06 of the of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956,
as amended, provides that appointments to the Park and Recreation Board shall be made by the
Mayor and confirmed by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the term of Adelaide Kinghorn expired September 29, 2020; and,
WHEREAS, Mayor Jean Stothert wishes to reappoint Adelaide Kinghorn to serve on
the Park and Recreation Board for term beginning upon passage of this Resolution and ending
September 29, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OMAHA:
THAT, the reappointment by Mayor Stothert of Adelaide Kinghorn as a member of the
Park and Recreation Board to serve a term, commencing upon passage of this Resolution and
expiring September 29, 2023, be and hereby is confirmed and approved.
