DBA "Club Turf", at 2404 South 60th Street has applied to add a BEER GARDEN to their Liquor License Location. I have no problem with the beer garden as such. I know they are trying to keep their smoking customers happy, and not loose any business. However, I am very concerned about outside music, either live band or loud speakers outside. We in the 60th and Center area went through the loud music issue about three years ago when the "BLUE BAYOU" was in operation on the S/E corner of 60th and Center where Crane Coffee in now located. We were constantly calling the police due to the loud music. When we called the facility , they would tell us to bad, or not answer their phone. We could not open our windows or doors due to the loud music. During the warmer months the wind blows from the South, so the noise goes North toward our residential area. Please help us to insure the peace that we are now enjoying in our area. As you know Center Street is a high traffic area so we are already putting up with the Street noises of the cars, trucks, and etc Thank you for any consideration given to this appeal. 7. - rank J. The area inspected for the outdoor area is in a required parking area for the building. This is to inform you that they will have to submit to the City of Omaha Planning Department, a site plan drawn to scale for review. The plan must include all improvements, structures and parking areas. They must also include the proposed location of the outdoor area and the type of fence they intend to construct. A building permit will be required for the fence. This will be a separate application from the site plan review.
