RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA:
WHEREAS, bids were submitted on January 23, 2008 for OPW 51384, being the A.V.
Sorensen Library renovation located at 4808 Cass Street; and,
WHEREAS, Coleman Construction Co. submitted a bid of$292,381.00, being the lowest
and best bid received for OPW 51384.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT, as recommended by the Mayor, the contract with Coleman Construction Co. for
OPW 51384, being the A.V. Sorensen Library renovation located at 4808 Cass Street in the
amount of$292,381.00 is hereby approved; and that the Finance Department is authorized to pay
the cost of OPW 51384 from the Sorensen Library Construction Organization 117025, Library
Facilities Capital Fund 13499 in the amount of $288,381.00 and from the 2008 Issue of 2006
Public Facilities Bond Organization 117513, 2006 Public Facilities Bond Fund 13244 in the
amount of$4,000.00, year 2008 expenditures.
