EXPERIENCE:
Mike McMeekin is President of Lamp, Rynearson &Associates, Inc., an engineering, planning and
surveying firm located in Omaha, Nebraska. He has more than 30 years of professional engineering
experience and has played a leadership role in a number of signature projects in the Omaha area,
including the Qwest Center Omaha and Riverfront Redevelopment, Rosenblatt Stadium and the
redevelopment of Aksarben. He is a graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies'
Senior Executives Institute, an advanced management, leadership, and public policy training program for
current and emerging leaders of engineering and architectural firms.
SELECTED PROJECT EXPERIENCE:
Qwest Center Omaha / Riverfront Redevelopment:
Mike served as LRA's Project Principal / Project Manager for site preparation and infrastructure
associated with the Qwest Center Omaha and associated riverfront redevelopment. Construction costs
for this project exceed $100 million. LRA's responsibilities included master plan preparation, platting,
demolition and site grading, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, public streets and parking lots, and utility
coordination. LRA's services included hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, design, and construction
administration for the major trunk sewers through the Qwest Center Omaha site. Mike's role included
management of a multi-disciplined design team providing services to the City of Omaha, and quality
control for all of LRA's infrastructure designs.
Rosenblatt Stadium:
Since 1991, LRA has served as the lead consultant of a multi-disciplined team for some $35 million in
improvements at Rosenblatt Stadium required by the City of Omaha agreement with the NCAA. Mike
has been involved as Project Principal or Project Manager for all of LRA's work, beginning with the 1991
Master Plan. Mike was responsible for research and design of the innovative playing field drainage
system at Rosenblatt Stadium. •
Omaha Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Program:
LRA is currently assisting in development of the Long Term Control Plan for combined sewer overflows
in eastern Omaha. LRA is part of the Program Management Team; is assisting in analysis of two of the
CSO basins, including the Burt-Izard Basin that includes the Qwest Center Omaha and North Downtown
areas; and is currently providing final design for a major storm sewer extension planned to extend from
16 &Webster Streets through the Creighton University campus. Mike is serving as LRA's Project
Principal.
Aksarben Redevelopment:
Mike served as Project Principal for LRA's work in infrastructure design for the original redevelopment of
Aksarben for First Data Resources and the University of Nebraska and for the Aksarben Village project
that is currently under construction.

PERIENCE:
Qwest Center Omaha / Riverfront Redevelopment:
Mike served as LRA's Project Principal / Project Manager for site preparation and infrastructure
associated with the Qwest Center Omaha and associated riverfront redevelopment. Construction costs
for this project exceed $100 million. LRA's responsibilities included master plan preparation, platting,
demolition and site grading, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, public streets and parking lots, and utility
coordination. LRA's services included hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, design, and construction
administration for the major trunk sewers through the Qwest Center Omaha site. Mike's role included
management of a multi-disciplined design team providing services to the City of Omaha, and quality
control for all of LRA's infrastructure designs.
Rosenblatt Stadium:
Since 1991, LRA has served as the lead consultant of a multi-disciplined team for some $35 million in
improvements at Rosenblatt Stadium required by the City of Omaha agreement with the NCAA. Mike
has been involved as Project Principal or Project Manager for all of LRA's work, beginning with the 1991
Master Plan. Mike was responsible for research and design of the innovative playing field drainage
system at Rosenblatt Stadium. •
Omaha Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Program:
LRA is currently assisting in development of the Long Term Control Plan for combined sewer overflows
in eastern Omaha. LRA is part of the Program Management Team; is assisting in analysis of two of the
CSO basins, including the Burt-Izard Basin that includes the Qwest Center Omaha and North Downtown
areas; and is currently providing final design for a major storm sewer extension planned to extend from
16 &Webster Streets through the Creighton University campus. Mike is serving as LRA's Project
Principal.
Aksarben Redevelopment:
Mike served as Project Principal for LRA's work in infrastructure design for the original redevelopment of
Aksarben for First Data Resources and the University of Nebraska and for the Aksarben Village project
that is currently under construction.

WHEREAS,sections 24-87 through 24-105of the Omaha Municipal Code provide for
an Urban Design Review Board,to review and provide recommendations to improve the quality of
