RES 2008-0245 - Quit claim deed in lot 8 of block 2 of Jizba's Waconda addition , ok1AHA,^,4,. 4041, R's Law Department `''f1'r't Omaha/Douglas Civic Center ®.:o,r, 'IV 1819 Farnam Street,Suite 804 o 5.•- ' Omaha,Nebraska 68183 0804 Aoq'rD FEaR5r*ry (402)444-5115 Telefax(402)444-5125 City of Omaha Paul D.Kratz Mike Fahey,Mayor City Attorney Honorable President and Members of the City Council, The attached Resolution provides for the quit claim of any interest of the City of Omaha in Lot 8 and one half of the vacated alley adjoining on the East,Block 2,Jizba's Waconda Addition to the City of Omaha, Douglas County,Nebraska. This is the second such action taken in this subdivision within approximately the last year. This action is necessary because of some mistake made regarding the platting of this subdivision by the late Jaro Z.Jizba. In the redevelopment of the property and the platting, certain interests of the City inadvertently remained on several of the lots and this Quit Claim Deed will extinguish that cloud on the title on the lot in question. The Quit Claim Deed reserves the City's interest in certain easements on the property and your favorable action on the attached Resolution is respectfully requested.
