WHEREAS,section 18-1901,Revised Statutes of Nebraska, 1943,as,amended,and

section 49-106 of the Omaha Municipal Code, provide for the appointment of members of the
Plumbing Board; and, ` '
WHEREAS,there now exists a vacancy for a union journeyman plumber member on
the Plumbing Board due to the resignation of William Baker; and,
WHEREAS,Mayor Mike Fahey has nominated Patrick B.Leddy for appointment as
union journeyman plumber member on the Plumbing Board, to serve William Baker's remaining
term commencing upon confirmation by the City Council and expiring November 6, 2009.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the nomination and appointment by Mayor Mike Fahey of Patrick B.Leddy as
