WHEREAS,the City of Omaha and Dr. Costis Toregas have negotiated the attached
Agreement wherein he will provide the described professional services to the City of Omaha for a
cost not to exceed $30,000.
• NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF OMAHA:
THAT,the Mayor is authorized to sign the attached Agreement between the City of
Omaha and Dr. Costis Toregas to develop a strategic IT plan for the City of Omaha that establishes
criteria for DOT.Comm performance with the amount of such contract not to exceed$30,000 which
funds shall be from the General Fund 11111 Organization 119019 Account 42239.

Contractor's commitments under the Equal Employment Opportunity Clause of
the City and shall post copies of the notice in conspicuous places available to
employees and applicants for employment.
(4) The Contractor shall furnish to the contract compliance officer all Federal forms
containing the information and reports required by the Federal government for
Federal contracts under Federal rules and regulations, and including the
information required by Sections 10-192 to 10-194, inclusive, and shall permit
reasonable access to his records. Records accessible to the Contract
Compliance Officer shall be those which are related to Paragraphs (1) through
(7) of this subsection and only after reasonable notice is given the Contractor.
The purpose for this provision is to provide for investigation to ascertain
compliance with the program provided for herein.

Municipal Code, provides for the appointment to the Electrical Examining Board; and,
WHEREAS, the term of Electrical Examining Board member Eric M. Wagman
expires on October 17, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Fahey has reappointed Eric M. Wagman as the union shop
journeyman electrician member on the Electrical Examining Board,said term to commence October
18, 2008, and expire three years later.
