The usual bidding process was not necessary because the State of Nebraska has a price agreement with Sid Dillon Wahoo, Inc. The company met all the specifications set by the Omaha Fire Department. Funds for the purchase have been appropriated and are available in the 2009 Fire Department Budget—Fund No. 11111, Organization 114526, Account Code 44234. The contractor has on file current Annual Contract Compliance Report Forms (CC-1). As is City policy, the Human Rights and Relations Director will review the contractor to ensure compliance with the Contract Compliance Ordinance.
